Description
A profound in-depth look at the early Christian community using the main source the Acts of the Apostles and also other New Testament and other early Sources. Many areas are looked at in a wonderfully clear way. How the early Christians prayed, what was essential to them and united them, how they worked through their differences, how they worshipped as a community and as important what all this means for each one of us today. “Fr. Raymond’s ability to transport us back in time to those early years and then bring us back to the present with an increase in faith and love for Scripture is truly wonderful.” “His style, as ever, is so accessible, yet is based on scholarship of a very high quality. As an early Church historian, what I especially like is his reference to early Christian writings.” Availability: Usually ships in 2 to 3 days Listen to this small sample of the talk above:

I purchased the complete set and I can’t tell you how please I have been with these lectures. You learn about the New Testament from it’s most insightful scholar and along the way learn the path the Church has taken since Vatican II to come to fully understand and implement the teachings of Christ.
